Email marketing has proven itself as a reliable and result driven strategy. I predict it will continue to be a strong tool to deliver consistent messaging and to connect with targeted audiences. However, you must be mindful of how many emails you send and who is on the receiving end.
During the pandemic, everyone’s inbox was filling up with promotions, discounts, urgent announcements and more. Emails were a bit overused and abused. Therefore, I do not recommend batching and blasting emails to every single name in your database.
Instead, I suggest you create automated campaigns that bring your customers on a journey. Make sure you are personalizing the messages. The emails should reflect the individuals choices and actions based on data points as they move through your communications.
Of course there are always exceptions to the rules. Sometimes, you must send out emails to everyone. Just remember to speak authentically with your core messaging in mind. This will help build your brand.
